Everyone knows that in a diet you shouldn’t eat to many carbohydrates. And pasta basically consist out of carbs. So how can this fit into my diet?!… It can. For this recipe I used pasta that is made out of red lentils. This is by far the best low carb alternative for pasta! They taste just like normal noodles, especially with my tomatoe sauce. Try it out and convince yourself, you won’t regret it.

Ingredients
- 300g red lentil pasta (order here)
- 1 small tomatoe
- 1 onion
- 300ml sieved tomatoes
- oil
- grated low fat cheese

Introduction
- Cook pasta.
- Chop onion and tomatoe.
- Add oil to a pan and fry onion and tomatoe. Then add sieved tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve pasta with tomatoe sauce and grated cheese. If you want to add some extra protein, add some fried chicken!
- Enjoy!
