American pancakes

Classic american pancakes. I love them (everyone does). They are a delicious and quickly prepared breakfast. There is only one problem – they are very unhealthy. They are high in calories, high in carbs and low in protein. Of course you can enjoy a pancake here and there but if you eat them for breakfast every morning it will be hard for you to loose weight.

But luckily I found a solution for that. These pancakes are 100% healthy but still taste almost the same. Yes, you can really eat them every single morning and as much as you want to! They are very low in calories as no sugar is added.

To make them perfect I added WHEY protein into these pancakes. Some extra protein and sweetness without too much extra calories.

So, here we go! You absolutely have to try out this recipe!

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 125g flour
  • 125ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 scoop WHEY protein powder vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients until you have a smooth batter.
  2. Heat some coconut oil in a pan and fry the pancakes on medium heat.
  3. Serve with fresh fruits and maple syrup.
  4. Enjoy!
