Hamburgers are the most popular junk food and known to be really unhealthy. But what exactly is so unhealthy about hamburgers? The meat is healthy and the veggies are, too. So it’s just about the bun and the sauces. As you know my mission on this blog is to make unhealthy foods healthy while keeping as much taste of the original as possible. I already posted a recipe of healthy burger buns but although they are healthier than normal buns they still contain a little bit of flour. So this recipe of healthy waffle buns is for everyone who is going really hard and doesn’t want any unhealthy ingredients. This waffle burger has way less calories and is at least twice as healthy as a normal burger. By the way it tastes awesome!

The best about this recipe is that you don’t need to bake the buns in the oven for a long time. It takes about 2 minutes to mix all ingredients and 3 more minutes to bake the waffles in the waffle maker. Then fry the meat, add toppings of your choice and the sauce and you are done! It couldn’t go faster. Try it out!
