Ceasars salad

You may think: But salad is already healthy. But this is definitely not always the case. A classic Ceasars salad is the perfect example. It’s is made with a lot of bread pieces and a dressing that contains tons of fats. Not healthy at all. But of course it does taste amazing so I am here for you with a 100% healthy and low calorie version that tastes exactly the same!

By the way this a perfect meal in a balanced diet. In my last diet I ate this salad for lunch everyday. I couldn’t get enough of it. And that was absolutely no problem, this meal contains only about 500 calories. In my opinion this salad should win a price, try it out and convince yourself!

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 200g chicken breast
  • 50g bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 200g salad of choice
  • 1 slice of bread
  • salt, pepper, paprika powder, garlic powder, herbs
  • 5 tbsp Jogurt

instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C.
  2. Cut the chicken into two pieces.
  3. Season the bread crumbs with the given spices.
  4. Dunk the chicken in the beaten egg and after that into the bread crumbs.
  5. Bake for 30 – 35 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Prepare your salad and the dressing while letting the meat cool off.
  7. For the dressing, use 5 tbsp of Joghurt and mix in herbs and spices of your choice (don’t forget salt & pepper).
  8. Place meat on salad and pour the dressing on top. Toast the bread and cut into small pieces. Add to the salad.
