HEALTHY WAFFLES

A nice big plate of waffles for breakfast. I love them! You need only 3 ingredients one of them is like a magic ingredient for me, that makes the waffles so freaking delicious and healthy. The magic ingredient is… protein powder.

Many seem to avoid using protein powder and see it as something bad, but it isn’t. It’s actually something great, no matter if you want to loose weight or gain muscle. It’s sometimes hard to get to your recommended daily protein intake only by eating normal food. At the end of the day you lie in your bed at try to figure out how to eat 50g of protein in one meal. That’s not how it should be. So sometimes protein powder solves that problem. There is nothing unhealthy in protein powder.

As in many other recipes, in this one I also use protein powder. The result is amazing, you definitely should try!

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 scoops WHEY protein powder vanilla

Instructions

  1. Grease the waffle iron with non stick cooking spray.
  2. Mix all ingredients.
  3. Bake the waffles until golden brown.
  4. That’s it! Serve with fresh fruit and my healthy vanilla sauce (click here for recipe).
  5. Enjoy!
